Spherical plain bearings can carry high-capacity radial and axial loads in a small envelope due to a large contact area and ideal for static oscillatory applications found in the mining and construction industries.

Plain bearings are used in many industries and across many applications where there is a need to cost-efficiently and reliably meet the challenge of oscillating movements and possible misalignment. From mining and construction equipment, farm and forestry machinery, all the way to forklift trucks and solar power equipment.

Plain bearings are mechanical components charged with bearing a load and allowing a sliding or rotational motion between two parts of a machine. Their main purpose is preventing wear of the points of support of the machine, which would take place if the shafts were to roll directly on the structure
